I have used Sunnyvale Geeks for several years and have always found the service to be excellent. The owner always shows up on time, gets the problem fixed to my great relief, and teaches me something new. He is very patient and reliable.
I have recommended him to several of my friends and they, too, have been very pleased. If you need a computer knowledgeable person who gets the job done and arrives on time, Sunnyvale Geeks is just wonderful. The price is reasonable for the skill he brings to solving the problem.

My 3 year old out-of-warranty Dell Alienware laptop was dead. Like, not getting past the POST, just beeping insanely. First I called Alienware and they quoted me a standard fee of $430 to replace the LCD and video controller, which would have required shipping the machine to who knows where and probably I would have been out of action for some time.
Looked for a local repair outfit and called Sunnyvale Geeks. Was not disappointed. Technician seemed familiar with the model and and the specific problem. The machine was picked up from my house and Sunnyvale Geeks ordered the part etc.
While that was happening, my alternate computer, a MacBook Pro, had a swelling battery that really needed to be replaced. I called Sunnyvale Geeks again and he said he would order the part and bring it to my house for installation.
I was super impressed that Sunnyvale Geeks could turn all of this around in a week and I never had to leave my house. The Mac battery was replaced on-site while my other PC was being returned. The whole affair was concluded at a reasonable price and, I think, a very quick turnaround time considering that parts had to be ordered.
Overall very happy and would recommend for laptop/desktop repairs.

Sunnyvale Geeks Owner, Mr. Joey Korkos is very knowledgeable on what he does and is been working with computers for nearly 20 years.He likes to help the community and neighbors sometimes with no charge.
He has an young male working part time at the shop mostly on Mondays, who was given the opportunity to work as part of his rehabilitation with Autism. Mr Korkos not only is giving this young man the opportunity to build responsibility but also is giving him the opportunity to work and get pay for his effort.
Mr. Korkos business is one of the very few that gives the neighborhood’s public server (Police Officers and Fire Dept.) the opportunity to come in and use the facilities as a shelter during inclement weather, bathroom and drink water.

Extraordinary support for our Mac, Dell and HP computers. Yohay came to the house for what we thought was a quick return of a Mac he had repaired. Three hours later he had diagnosed enduring problems in the Dell and HP computers, updated the security systems, and transferred the files into a more efficient browser. He addressed an issue with music files on the HP and greatly reduced the storage space required for them. He accomplished all of this with great patience in answering questions and correcting some fumble fingers. To sum up: he is the best, both in competence and in customer relations. Very highly recommended.

These guys are my hero’s!! I have had problems with my Lenovo dysfunctional DC jack (power jack) for a while.
Problems with charging the battery and turn it on was unstable,
Before I called Chevy Chase Geeks, I went to other places to see if they can fix it, after few days diagnostic was wrong, said my motherboard need to be replaced, all I got was expensive quotes and crazy amount of time to do the whole processes, which I don’t have.
Anyways, I’m happy I called Chevy Chase Geeks and got it repaired, and at an affordable cost!!! Totally recommend these guys!!! I will bring my money here next time I need help with any of my computer works.
Yohay picked up my broken hard drive and external hard drive on Friday, transferred my files to a new hard drive on Saturday, and installed the new hard drive on Sunday. He provided high quality as well as very timely service.

When my PC melted down, I found my way to Yohay Korkos at Chevy Chase Geeks, who came the next day on a rescue mission. He was great! He got to the bottom of the problem quickly (it was a video card that had served its time), explained what he was doing at every turn and even took me over to Best Buy to buy a new part, which he then installed. He fixed a few other small issues along the way. I thought his charges were very reasonable for the time he spent. Highly recommend!

I had him come over to check my main work computer, because my hard drive gave me error messages and needed to be replaced.
yohay hooked me up with Win10, a new SSD Hard Drive with a much more memory, (now it’s faster than it ever been) and even
fixed a broken front panel hinge. Super reasonable price.
Then he worked on my second laptop that had power issues and soldered a new DC jack my motherboard and now it works like new.
